Meet a few of the key members of our design and business development teams:
Lisa Belodoff supports customers in the role of Business Development. In this role she is responsible for the overall satisfaction of customer teams, from engineering engagement to on-time product delivery. Lisa serves as customer main point of contact and is responsible for RPO engagement, proposal requests and quotations, providing business consultation and RPO technology planning. With 20+ years of experience in fiber optics, medical device and precision optics technologies and an MBA from Syracuse University, Lisa is well-equipped to handle the needs of every project individually.
As head of R&D, John Deegan is responsible for advancing new materials science and advanced technologies in applied optics and photonics. As one of the original members of RPO, Deegan has been instrumental in growing RPO’s Precision Glass Molding (PGM) division. Most recently, John served as the Engineering Manager where he led a team of experienced Mechanical Engineers who focused on developing new molding technology and advanced systems integration of molded optics. Prior to his role at RPO, Deegan served as an Engineer at Eastman Kodak Company’s Optical Imaging Systems business unit. John achieved both an Associate's Degree from Monroe Community College in Optical/Optical Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
As the Director of Engineering Program Management, Amy Zelazny leads a team of specialized engineering program managers to drive customer programs from design through completion in close collaboration with the business development team. Most recently, Zelazny served as Program Engineer where she managed numerous optical engineering projects while working closely with customers. Amy has over 33 years of experience in the optical field both in the commercial and defense domains. This experience spans many product types but her focus has been on optical assemblies that support night vision applications. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Optics from the University of Rochester.
