Rochester Precision Optics (RPO) was formed in 2005 when it
acquired the manufacturing technology, intellectual property
and assets from Kodak Optical Imaging Systems. Starting
production in 2006 and building on its core technology of
precision molded glass aspheres, RPO has grown from 27
employees to over 130 today. Located in four ultra-modern
facilities and incorporating more than 80,000 square feet, we
manufacture glass, plastic, crystal and infrared optics which
provides the optics community a one stop option to solve
complex problems from design to full rate production. Our ASE
Design Research and Development Group are industry
experts who can provide dedicated research, or develop your
ideas to products. We are experts in the manufacture of aspheric
components and aspheric optical systems using vertically
integrated manufacturing covering all aspects of lens
manufacturing and starting with many self supporting functions in-house  helping reduce lead times and lower costs.
